3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Tour

This 3-day safari takes you from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most biodiverse protected areas. The journey combines wildlife game drives, chimpanzee tracking, and a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, offering a rich mix of forest and savannah experiences.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Chimpanzee Tracking
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala to begin the scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. You will enjoy breakfast en route as you pass through Uganda’s countryside, tea plantations, and rural communities.

Upon arrival, you will have lunch and a short rest before heading to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. This guided forest walk offers a chance to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat, along with other primates and forest bird species.
After the activity, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 2: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Your day begins early in the morning with a morning game drive across the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the best time to spot predators and other wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and a variety of antelope species. The game drive lasts approximately four hours before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

After lunch around midday, you will relax briefly before heading out for a memorable afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is famous for its high concentration of wildlife along the shores.

During the cruise, you will have close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, and a wide variety of bird species including pelicans, kingfishers, and fish eagles. It is one of the most rewarding wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast at 8:00am, you will check out and begin your journey back to Kampala. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes with an optional stop at the Equator for photography and souvenir shopping.
Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport, marking the end of your safari experience.
