Volunteer Experiences in East Africa

with Msituni Safaris

About the Volunteer Program

Msituni Safaris runs volunteer travel programs across Uganda and East Africa that combine community work with travel and cultural exposure.

The program places participants in community projects where they take part in daily activities and learn from local systems while living within the communities they serve.

The program connects volunteers with community projects in different parts of Uganda and surrounding regions. These projects operate in schools, health outreach programs, youth groups, conservation areas, and community support initiatives.

Volunteers take part in daily activities depending on their placement. Tasks are guided by local coordinators and project staff. Each placement is arranged to match the volunteer’s availability and level of experience.

Support is provided before arrival and throughout the stay. Volunteers receive guidance on settling in, understanding local routines, and adapting to the placement environment.
